Paris: A very fine Lahoche Palais Royal, cobalt-blue ground cup & saucer

Date: 1839 – 1854

Condition: The porcelain is in excellent condition without any damage or restoration. The raised gilding ornamentation  is in a superb state of preservation – very minor rub to gilt on top of the cup handle.

Size: The cup is 6.5cm tall & 8.5cm across the rim, the saucer is 14cm across.

A very fine quality Lahoche Palais Royal cup & saucer. The rich cobalt blue-ground cup is exquisitely painted with an exotic bird in a landscape within an ornate raised gilt border. The saucer is superbly painted with sprays of summer flowers within ornate gilt borders.
