Description: – An extremely fine Hutschenreuther porcelain coffee cup and saucer decorated in the Schwäbisch Gmünd silver studios of Friedrich Spahr. The set is adorned with a Taoist Yin-Yang inspired design in pure silver overlay upon a black & white ground. Each piece is stamped Spahr 1000
Size: – The cup is 5cm tall & 6.5cm across the rim, the saucer is 11cm across and the whole weighs 105g.
Condition: – The porcelain and silver are in excellent condition without any chips, cracks, hairlines, losses or restoration.
History & Marks: – The Hutschenreuther porcelain marks used between 1939-64. The cup stamped Spahr 1000 close to where the handle meets the top rim. The saucer stamped on the underside of the rim.
