A striking modernist inspired studio pottery jug made in 1980 by Gerhard Liebenthron in his Breman studio. The jug has a very strong tactile form and a multi layered flowing earthy glaze which feels like tree bark. The jug is 27cm tall and has Gerhard Libenthrons monogram and year code for 1980 to the base.
