Condition: Excellent with no damages or restoration to the glass. The silver overlay has no losses. The usual wear to the base without any chips or losses.

A very fine red coloured vase made in the Josephinenhütte Glassworks, the form designed by Alexander Pfohl (1894-1953). The high quality lead crystal body has facet -cut and decoration and has been enhanced in the silver studios of Friedrich Deusch with a stylised floral design in fine silver overlay. The vase is 15cm tall & 7cm across the rim. The silver is marked 1000/1000 to the top rim and an example of the shape & design can be seen:
