A very fine rosaline-coloured vase made in the Josephine glassworks, the form of the vase designed by Alexander Pfohl (1894-1953). The high quality lead crystal body has wedge & radiant-cut decoration and has been enhanced in the silver studios of Friedrich Deusch with a stylised floral design in fine silver overlay. The vase is 15.5cm tall & 5cm across the rim. The silver is stamped 1000/1000 to the lower band of the design, an example of the shape & design can be seen:
