An interesting silver overlay vase made in the silver studios of Gebruder Deyhle using a recognised design by Friedrich Spahr. This vase is an interesting example for collectors because it shows the beginning of the end of silver overlay popularity and production. Deyhle took over Spahrs designs and works from Spahrs wife who ran the silver works for several years. This vase weighs 920g and is 29cm tall and 10cm across the rim and is decorated with a known floral design in silver upon a turquoise blue ground. The vase has a scarce 1000/1000 label to the base.
