Description: – A very fine and scarce Edelstein porcelain vase decorated in the Schwäbisch Gmünd silver studios of Friedrich Spahr. The body is decorated with an ornate floral study in thick pure silver overlay and enamels upon a black ground.
Size: – The vase is 20cm tall
Condition: – Sorry for reflections in some of the images. The porcelain vase is in very good condition without any chips, cracks, losses or restoration. The silver will have some minor surface scratches following 70/80 years of cleaning and care.
History & Marks – The silver is stamped Spahr 1000 to the lower rim of the vase. The Edelstein Porcelain Marks used from 1931-72
