1940s American Zone Silver Overlay Vase by Friedrich Deusch

Date: 1946-1949 American Zone Marks

Condition: No chips, cracks restoration, some slight roughness to base rim where silver has worn over time.

Size: The vase is 26.5cm tall and is 14cm across the rim

A fabulous Thomas porcelain baluster shaped vase decorated in the Schwåbisch Gmünd silver studios of Friedrich Deusch. The 26.5cm tall vase has a 14cm rim and is 1025g in weight. The delightful blue body is decorated with an inspiring modernist tree design in thick silver overlay. The silver is stamped 1000/1000 to the base rim. Slight roughness to base rim where silver has worn over time.
