Materials: – Edelstein Porcelain &  Friedrich Spahr Schwåbisch Gmünd silver

Country of Origin: – Germany

Description: – A delightful turquoise ground vase decorated in the Schwåbisch Gmünd silver studios of Friedrich Spahr. The baluster shape is enhanced with a very stylised floral design in silver overlay.

Size & Weight: – The vase is 17cm tall and 8cm across the rim and weighs 500g.  

Condition: – The porcelain has no chips, cracks, hairlines, crazing, losses or restoration. The silver is in great order without any losses, Obviously after 70 years of care there are very minor micro surface scratches to the silver following years of love & care.

Photography: - Please look at the images as they show a true status of this delightful vase. There are some light reflections seen following the photography and are not discolourations to the glaze.

History & Marks:– The silver  is stamped Spahr 1000 to the lower rim. The Edelstein porcelain marks used between 1929-72

Declaration:– This is original Edelstein porcelain from the time period described. The silver overlay is that from the Schwåbisch Gmünd silver studios of Friedrich Spahr.
