Description: – A delightful Hutschenreuther porcelain cup & saucer exquisitely decorated in the silver studios of Friedrich Spahr with a Modernist candy stripe design in silver overlay and enamels. The enamels are typica of the 1950s/60 period. The silver is stamped Spahr 1000 to the cup rim close to the handle. 

Size & Weight: – The cup is 5.75cm tall & 6.5cm across the rim, the saucer is 11.5cm across. The whole weighs 120g.

Condition: – The fine Hutschenreuther Porcelain is in superb condition without any chips, cracks, hairlines or restoration. The pure silver overlay by Friedrich Spahr is without any losses. .

Photography: - Please look at the images as they show a true status of this delightful cup & saucer. There are some light reflections seen following the photography and are not discolourations to the glaze.

History & Marks:– The Hutschenreuther porcelain marks used from 1939-1964, the Spahr 1000 silver marks which can be seen easily on the cup rim close to the handle were used from the early 1930s to late 1960s. 

Declaration:– This is original Hutschenreuther Porcelain from the time period described. The silver overlay is that from the Schwåbisch Gmünd silver studios of Friedrich Spahr.
