Description: – A fabulous Thomas porcelain baluster shaped vase decorated in the Schwåbisch Gmünd silver studios of Friedrich Deusch. The delightful blue body is decorated with an inspiring modernist tree design in thick silver overlay.

Size & Weight: – The 26.5cm tall vase has a 14cm rim and is 1025g in weight.

Condition: – The porcelain has no chips, cracks, hairlines, crazing, losses or restoration. The silver is in great order without any losses, as one may expect there is slight roughness to base rim where the silver has worn very slightly over time.  Obviously after 80 years of care there are very minor surface scratches to the silver following years of love & care.

Photography: - Please look at the images as they show a true status of this delightful vase. There are some light reflections seen following the photography and are not discolourations to the glaze.

History & Marks:– The silver is stamped 1000/1000 to the base rim as can be seen in the above image.

Declaration:– This is original Thomas porcelain from the time period described. The US Zone indicates a time period between 1946-49. The silver overlay is that from the Schwåbisch Gmünd silver studios of Friedrich Spahr.
