Description: – An outstanding and aesthetically pleasing Rosenthal porcelain cup and saucer exquisitely decorated with silver overlay by Friedrich Deusch with a superbly stylised study of flowers upon a rich blue ground.

Size & Weight: – The tea cup is 5cm tall & 10cm across the rim, the saucer is 14.5cm across. The whole weighs 235g. 

Condition: – The fine Hutschenreuther Porcelain is in superb condition without any chips, cracks, hairlines or restoration. The pure silver overlay by Friedrich Deusch is without any losses. There may be a few micro surface scratches on the silver following 80 years of love, attention, cleaning and caring for this cup & saucer.

Photography: - Please look at the images as they show a true status of this delightful cup & saucer. There are some light reflections seen following the photography and are not discolourations to the glaze. The blue is quite a delightful Royal Blue.

History & Marks:– The Rosenthal Kronach porcelain marks used between 1938-52 the Friedrich Deusch 1000/1000 silver marks which can be seen easily on the cup rim close to the handle were used from the 1940s to late 1960s. 

Declaration:– This is original Hutschenreuther Porcelain from the time period described. The silver overlay is that from the Schwåbisch Gmünd silver studios of Friedrich Deusch .
