Description: –An early specimen or trumpet vase decorated in the silver studios of Friedrich Spahr with a striking floral design in thick silver overlay upon a Vermillion-ground, the silver is further enhanced with detailed engraving. The silver stamped with the early Spahr 1000 10 under the base
Size & Weight: – The vase is 20cm tall & 8cm across the rim and the whole weighs 310g.
Condition: – The porcelain has no chips, cracks, hairlines, crazing, losses or restoration. The silver is in great order without any losses, Obviously after 80+ years of care there are very minor surface scratches to the silver following years of love, care & attention.
Photography: - Please look at the images as they show a true status of this delightful vase. There are some light reflections seen following the photography and are not discolourations to the glaze.
History & Marks:– The silver is stamped Spahr 1000 to the lower aspect of the silver neck.
Declaration:– This is original German porcelain from the time period described. The silver overlay is that from the Schwåbisch Gmünd silver studios of Friedrich Spahr.
