Materials: –  Alboth & Kaiser Bavarian/German Porcelain. The silver by Friedrich Deusch, Schwåbisch Gmünd Germany.

Country of Origin: – Germany

Description: – An interesting asymmetric shaped jug decorated with a stylised floral design in silver overlay upon an atmospheric ground.  The base of the jug has the standard Deusch coffee pot mark and the silver is stamped 1000 to the lower part of the handle.

Size & Weight:  The Alka Porcelain jug is 15cm tall. 

Condition: – The porcelain and silver are in excellent condition without any chips, cracks, losses or restoration. Obvious slight surface scratches to the silver following 70 years of care and cleaning the silver.

Photography: - Please look at the images as they show a true status of this delightful piece of silver overlay porcelain. There are some light reflections seen following the photography and are not discolourations to the glaze.

History & Marks: The Alka porcelain marks are from the period 1938-58. The silver overlay has the standard Deusch Coffee Pot mark to the base and has also 1000 (the purity of the silver) stamped to the lower aspect of the handle.

Declaration: This is original Alboth & Kaiser Bavarian/German Porcelain from the time period described. The silver overlay is that from the Schwåbisch Gmünd silver studios of Friedrich Deusch.
