Description: – An extremely fine Bavarian porcelain vase decorated in the Schwåbisch Gmünd silver studios of Friedrich Spahr. The turquoise body has a superbly intricate and expressive floral design in thick silver overlay.
Size & Weight: – The vase is 20cm tall and 10cm across the rim and weighs 1330g.
Condition: – The porcelain has no chips, cracks, hairlines, crazing, losses or restoration. The silver is in great order without any losses, Obviously after 70/80 years of care there are very minor surface scratches to the silver following years of love & care.
Photography: - Please look at the images as they show a true status of this delightful vase. There are some light reflections seen following the photography and are not discolourations to the glaze.
History & Marks:– The silver is stamped Spahr 1000 to the lower rim of the vase. The porcelain marks used between 1945-77. K&A porcelain ceased production in 1979
Declaration:– This is original Krautheim & Adelberg Porcelain from the time period described. The silver overlay is that from the Schwåbisch Gmünd silver studios of Friedrich Spahr.
