Description: – “Nast" A delightful & scarce Empire / Restoration Period coffee service made and decorated by Nast in PARIS. The porcelain is painted in an en brunaille palette with pleasant rustic landscapes dotted with cottages, towers, churches and a ruined temple. Each piece marked under the base "NAST". 

Size & Weight: – The coffee pot & cover are 28cm tall, the milk jug is 17.5cm tall, the covered succrier is 18cm tall, the cup is 9cm tall to tip of handle & 8cm across and the saucer is 14cm across.  

Condition: – On the whole this impressive service is in good condition for its age. The only issue is with 1 cup which has a small chip to the foot rim and 1 cup with a 1cm hairline close to the handle. The gilding is in good order overall with the handles to the cup with some wear. The en brunaille painting is in beautiful order. See images. (If you need further images please request.)

History & Marks: The porcelain has both the early Rosenthal marks used between 1890s - 1910  The Hutschenreuther studio mark was used between 1918-45.
