Description: – A delightful Berlin porcelain demitasse of neuosier shape with gilded rims. Whilst a little sparse, this demitasse is beautifully painted with a study of summer flowers and bugs, using a soft palette of colours.
Size & Weight: – The cup is 5cm tall and 6cm across the rim, the saucer is 11.5cm across. The weight as a whole is 145g
Condition: – This beautiful First choice demi is in super cabinet condition. There are no chips, cracks, hairlines, crazing, losses or restoration. The gilding and band of flowers are bright and crisp. See images.
Photography: - Please look at the images as they show a true status of this delightful demitasse. There are some green light reflections seen on one image following the photography and are not discolourations to the glaze.
History & Marks:– The porcelain is marked with the standard Berlin porcelain mark used between 1945 - 57. A red Imperial Orb is used to indicate the decoration includes floral painting, figurative scenes and landscapes.
Declaration:– This demitasse is original Berlin porcelain from the time period described.
