Description: – An interesting and fine quality Thomas porcelain demitasse cup and saucer exquisitely decorated in the Rosenthal Munchen (Munich) decorations studios. The bucket shaped cup stands on three gilded feet and both pieces are decorated with a stylised floral design in rich blue and gilt upon a white body.

Size & Weight: – The cup is 7.5cm tall to the tip of the handle & 6.5cm across the rim and the saucer is 11.5cm across, the whole weighs 145g.

Condition: – The porcelain, hand painted & gilded decoration are in excellent condition. There are no chips, cracks, hairlines, losses or restoration. See images

History & Marks: The porcelain marks used on this example are interesting because they show two marks. The first is a Thomas porcelain mark which is overset with a Rosenthal Art studio mark. This mark is usually used on export porcelain. The Thomas porcelain marks Circa 1930s
