Description: – A fine, striking & truly decorative 19th Century Copeland porcelain cup and saucer. The design incorporates a detailed Imari inspired pattern which includes outstanding hand gilding and enamel work.

Size & Weight: – The cup is 5.5cm tall & 8.25cm across the rim, the deep saucer is 14cm across and the total weight is 270g. The saucer has the impressed year code for 1879

Condition: – The porcelain is in excellent condition without any chips, cracks, hairlines, losses or restoration. The painting is in excellent order without any loss to the enamels used. Minimal rub or bleeding of the hand gilding. No damage.

History & Marks: The porcelain is marked with a standard Copeland mark for the Period. The saucer has the impressed year code for 1879
