Description: – An extremely fine Derby porcelain rectangular shaped cup and saucer. The fine moulded body is decorated in the classical manner with a pale lime green ground and a band of silver overlaid with raised gilt leaves. Furthermore, an ornate pelmet of classic gilding suspends from the border. This pieces was made for Richard Briggs Porcelain Retailer Boston USA
Size & Weight: – The cup is 5cm tall & 4.5 & 5cm across the rectangular rim and the saucer is 10.25cm x 9cm across, the whole weighs 130g.
Condition: – The porcelain has no chips, cracks, hairlines, crazing, losses or restoration. The decoration, silver band, gilding and gilt beads are all intact. See images.
