Materials: – China clay used by UK potteries was mined in Devon and Cornwall.

Country of Origin: – United Kingdom

Description: – An early 19th century Ridgway’s porcelain trio, of London shape and pattern 2/623. Each piece is beautifully painted with English flowers within a blue and gilt border. 

Size & Weight: – The Tea cup is 6cm tall to tip of the handle and 8cm across, the coffee cup is 6.5cm tall to tip of handle and 6.5cm across and the saucer is 14cm across. The weight as a whole is 325g.

Condition: –  The trio is in fine order without and chips, cracks or restoration, very minimal gilt wear as you would expect on an item 200 years old.

Photography: - Please look at the images as they show a true status of this delightful trio. There are some light reflections seen following the photography and are not discolourations to the glaze.

History & Marks: The porcelain is marked with pattern number 2/623 saucer (see images)
